OUR STORY
Life of Faith was founded by Anthony & Vanika Pigee. It was just a vision in April 2004, it became a reality February 2nd, 2005. Life of Faith Christian Community Fellowship, held its first service April 3rd, 2005 in the auditorium of Lafayette Elementary School in the great city of Long Beach, CA. Pastor Anthony & Co-Pastor Vanika Pigee was installed as the Pastors of Life of Faith CCF October 30th 2005.
The ministry grew rapidly from 6 members to over 200 members within the first year. In 2008, with the success of the ministry, LOFCCF added a second location in North Long Beach, CA. The church eventually left the school and committed to one service in North Long Beach in 2008. In 2009, Life of Faith had changed its name to Life of Faith Community Center. April 8th, 2010 Co-Pastor Vanika Pigee transitioned to be with Lord. August 2010 The church relocated to its current location in Los Angeles, CA. With the leading of the Holy Spirit and counsel from great mentors, our Founder remarried in June 2011, to our First Lady Emeritus LaVicia Pigee. She stood by his side as a loving, caring and devoted wife. Her involvement, lessons, and example has been a standard here at Life of Faith.
In 2017, our Founder was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord’s Church and did a great work serving the people of God, one step, one soul at a time.
Life of Faith suffered a major blow on April 8th, 2020 when our leader, founder and Bishop, Anthony Pigee Sr., was called from labor to reward. He left behind, his wife LaVicia Pigee and seven Children, Anthony Pigee Jr & wife Tineisha Pigee, Sandrika Pigee, Adrina Parish & husband Albert Parish, Camran Arzu & husband Anthony Arzu, Darius Pigee, LaNiya Pigee & LaNicia Pigee. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Amara Parish, Alaysha Pigee, Amir Parish, Ariyah Parish, Kay Arzu and King wade.
On May 7th, 2020 Anthony Pigee Jr was named interim Pastor over Life of Faith Church.
While serving here in the great city of Los Angeles, the ministry has impacted thousands of people all over the world. We’ve fed our community, held meaningful revivals, conferences, financial literacy courses, marriage seminars, witnessed to the less fortunate, won souls to Christ and changed lives one step and one soul at a time.
